Creating Membership Levels in Dolphin 7

1. The first thing we need to do is login as admin:

2. if you are new to dolphin 7, and more accustomed to Dolphin 6 admin login, then you will continuously be calling up that horrid /administration directory so you can login as admin. well you no longer have to do that. you can login to your admin panel from the front-end, yes you can login to admin panel just as everybody else logs in.

3. once logged as admin, you will see the nifty little icon down at the user navigation on the bottom of the site. this may even be floating depending on what you have changed in admin. the icon is the form of a crown it appears. so clicking on that will get you into the admin panel. now once you are in the admin panel, you will need to access the admin nav menu, clicking on the Settings button.

4. now you will need to access from the admin menu the Membership Levels link:

5. taking a look at the default membership level settings that are part of a fresh Dolphin 7 installation.

6. now we are ready to create a new membership level using the create form provided with dolphin 7 for creating new membership levels.

7. setting up membership level parameters:

8. Custom membership level has been created but has not been activated. it will appear as dimmed until you opt to activate the new membership level you have created in dolphin 7.

9. Dolphin 7 custom membership level has been created, and activated and ready to setup pricing for new membership level.

10. an overview of membership level actions that can be performed. you need to customize your level of access to the site based on your membership levels. by default in dolphin 7 when you created a new membership level all actions are dimmed out. you will need to tick the actions you want to have available for this membership level and at the bottom you need to click enable.

11. membership levels in dolphin 7 allow you to setup pricing for your custom membership levels.

12. just showing an example of setting up your pricing in the membership level area of your Dolphin 7 environment.

13.membership level created, pricing setup for membership level, actions setup for membership level. now you just need to repeat these steps for each membership level you would like to have in your Dolphin 7 site.
